Following on from the release of the OER Synthesis and Evaluation report surrounding phase one of the UKOER Programme, the Jorum team has had the chance to respond to this evaluation and to provide comments on its recommendations, as they relate to Jorum and its future development.
Jorum's response
The Jorum team welcomed the opportunity to support the JISC/HEA OER Programme, and has worked hard to respond to the requirements of the pilot phase of the programme. We worked closely with the programme team and members of individual projects to provide support, as well as gathering feedback and developing new functionality for Jorum.
The programme proved to be an invaluable learning experience for all involved, contributing to the success of JorumOpen, which now allows users to find over 10,500 OER resources; approximately 8500 of these are tagged with #ukoer.
