With the New Year just around the corner, we continue preparations for the release of JorumOpen on 19th January 2010.
We would like to provide you with a sneak preview of JorumOpen, through a series of pre-recorded vidcasts.
These videos cover everything you need to know about JorumOpen - from logging in and creating an initial profile prior to deposit, to searching and browsing resources (no log in required!).
The vidcasts can be found repeated (as everything is at Christmas!) at either the Jorum Community Bay, or YouTube (please ensure you search for JorumOpen), in both high definition and standard .mp4 formats. You will need a suitable MPEG4 player to view the vidcasts (such as Windows Media Player, VLC, iTunes and Quicktime).
Don’t forget - if you are at a loose end over the Christmas period, and you wish to deposit open access resources into JorumOpen before the 19th January, you are still able to do this via the Jorum OER Deposit Tool. All resources deposited will automatically be available in JorumOpen from the release date.
The Jorum Team would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a big thank you for your continued support.
All the best
The Jorum Team
