The Jorum Community Bay has seen a significant rise in content in the last few months, with four key areas now in place: Jorum Forum; Sharing Resources; Technology; and Film, Images and Sound. Each area includes a range of materials which point to useful tools and information on sharing and repurposing learning and teaching materials, from software betas, case studies, podcasts and reports.
The Jorum Forum area includes an outline of the Jorum Community Bay’s aims, as well as the Jorum discussion forum, where you can post questions or start your own discussion thread. You can also find out about relevant events, training and support, ranging from Jorum training sessions and materials to the Jorum Update newsletters, as well as a host of related projects and initiatives.
The Sharing Resources area explores issues around sharing resources, including an OER discussion forum, and is also a source of further support for the UKOER projects. It also provides a home for the first case study on Jorum, created as part of the JISC Services series, demonstrating the expertise and benefits of the service.
