Jorum @ RSC Northwest Annual Event

The RSC Northwest Annual Event at Southport on the 25th June saw the Jorum team officially
unveiling the Jorum OER Deposit Tool.

The celebration took place on the Jorum stand to mark the launch of the Deposit Tool with balloons, streamers and cakes, all of which were positively received. Jorum bags and USB sticks preloaded with Jorum information were also given out to those who wanted to know more.

Visitors to the stand were invited to ‘Give a gift to Jorum’ by bringing along Open Educational Resources, to try out the new tool and provide comments and feedback.

Demonstrations of the Jorum OER Deposit Tool took place on the Promethean Activboard©, along with demos of the Jorum repository and podcasts.

All in all, a very positive day and feedback has been extremely positive.
